A rather original historical site.

The town hall of Sens is a public building which houses the town hall and symbolizes the republican values of the town. It is also a historic monument that highlights the neo-Renaissance style and the artistic talents of different painters and sculptors.

From the outside a very beautiful impulsive building with the golden figure of the Gallic leader of Sens Brennus.

Small chapel from 1637 in the middle of the woods, with a pretty roof in glazed Burgundy tiles. This chapel, dedicated to Saint Léonard de Noblat, has recently been restored. Unfortunately, the calm is spoiled by the highway which passes about 100m away; it is invisible, but perfectly audible.

This pedestrian alley which goes around Villeneuve l'archevêque is located on the site of the old fortifications of the City. The shape is almost square, like the grid plan of this city.

Very well maintained, very pleasant for a stopover.

This mill is on a reach adjacent to the Vanne. The small strip of land between the river and the reach forms like an island where the walk is very pleasant. There is also a laundry. The mill, which belongs to the City of Paris, operates an aqueduct lift pump.
