An impressive half-timbered building made of oak. Except for two metal parts, it is made entirely of wood, with wooden dowels (no nails or screws). At the front, there is a washhouse and a well. The hall, which was in danger of collapsing and had to be reinforced in 1983, was restored between 2003 and 2007. Since 2010, the town hall and the Lagery Festival Association have organized an arts and crafts market there every spring Sunday.

A remarkable remnant of what was once a large and important abbey. Caesar, Napoleon and German troops are said to have passed through this area during the First World War.

This abbey, which was founded in 1134 by St. Bernard, was severely damaged in a bombardment in 1917. The best preserved buildings are the pantry, the refectory of the lay brothers, the chapter house and the monks' hall. The foundations of the abbey church and the inn are still visible.
