The town is also known for its Saint-Jean Baptiste church which contains reliquary treasures as well as a very beautiful statue of the Virgin. This manor was built by Pierre Pion, a wealthy butcher from Troyes, who restored it after it was damaged by the English during the Hundred Years' War. The manor has four round towers pierced with cannons, a polygonal staircase tower and a double gallery of wooden beams. You can also admire the four monumental fireplaces with sculpted mantles, as well as the coat of arms of Louis XII, who stayed there as seneschal of Champagne. The manor is today the town hall of Rumilly and hosts a reception room on the ground floor.
