Schwarzburg Castle offers an exciting blend of history, impressive architecture, and beautiful nature. Don't miss the Imperial Hall with its imperial portraits, the Princely Armory with its unique collection of weapons, and the magnificent view of the Schwarza Valley.

A small stone hut crouches on the mountainside, the grey slate stones are overgrown with moss in the joints, giving the hut the appearance of being a natural part of the landscape. A narrow path winds up the slope to the hut.

Very interesting little house, the outer walls are filled with moss elements. Johann Heinrich Cotta is remembered here, and the section of the path also bears his name.

Nice little shelter that invites you to take a break.

comes as a surprise when you pop down from the Trippstein out of the forest. No access, but you can catch a glimpse of the interior through the iron gate
