The Marne side canal runs along the river from Vitry-le-François to Dizy; it is entirely located in the Marne department and serves the towns of Châlons-en-Champagne and Épernay. The Porte Sainte-Croix is a historic monument in Châlons-en-Champagne, a city in the Grand Est region, in France. It is a gate built in 1769 in the style of a triumphal arch, in honor of Marie Antoinette, wife of King Louis XVI.
