There seem to be many more bike paths in Thuringia than in Saxony-Anhalt. Therefore, I highly recommend the bike paths there.

Since 1996, the Bottendorf Copperworks Association has been offering a range of activities on a site rich in history, from hands-on customs to rural tourism. If you want to get to know the beauty of northern Thuringia, just visit it. The copperworks area, located directly on the Unstrut, includes the Bottendorf Mill with the campsite, holiday apartments, rustic overnight accommodation for groups and a park-like garden.

I can only confirm all the comments before me. There is also a fish ladder at the weir. Very nice !!! On the other side you can see as far as the Kyffhäuser monument.

Beautiful natural campsite and in Bottendorf there is a Greek restaurant at the top of the sports field!!👍
