Mountain Biking Highlight
The Würzburg Residence is a baroque palace with a large and beautiful garden.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
April-October: daily 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (ticket office closes at 5.30 p.m.)
November-March: daily 10 a.m.-4.30 p.m. (ticket office closes at 4 p.m.)
The residence is only closed on January 1st, Shrove Tuesday, December 24th, 25th and 31st.
The courtyard garden is open daily until nightfall (until 8 p.m. at the latest).
Admission prices 2019
7.50 euros regular · 6.50 euros reduced
Admission to the Hofkirche and the Hofgarten is free.
Free and reduced admission
Children and young people up to the age of 18 receive free admission.
Pupils over the age of 18 from general schools, vocational schools, special schools and schools for the sick in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 2 BayEUG also receive free admission upon presentation of their student ID.
Pupils from schools of the second chance of education (evening school, evening grammar school, college) according to Art. 6 Para. 2 No. 1e BayEUG as well as language students are not granted free admission.
