Humpback burial ground of Boltersen. Also very interesting.

Lies on the official bike path from Neetze to Lüneburg. Wonderful track, you should make a stop here. But you do not see much of the graves except a heathland, you can only guess it.Sources:

There is not much to see here. Therefore it is only a small highlight for me to drive by.

Unfortunately, there is not much to see of the humpback graves, until the relatively freshly shoveled holes can be seen, it looked as if robbery graves were at work.
During the heather bloom it is very beautiful here, as the "humpback burial ground" is located in a small heather area. Occasionally I like to use the place for a break while on a bike tour.

Unfortunately, the small heather area looks very neglected here. There is not much to see of humpback graves here either, when I was here in April 2018, there were a few dug holes where it looked as if predatory graves had been at work here. When I was here on August 10, 2019, the heather was already in bloom. This time there was also a herd of Heidschnucken, which was certainly urgently needed in the small, herbaceous heather. Since I often come by here on my bike tours anyway, I sometimes stop here to take a little break (my last visit here was on September 5th, 2020, shortly before the heather was in bloom).
If I want to go to the heather specifically, I would look for another, more beautiful area, e.g. the very beautiful Nemitzer Heide in Lüchow-Dannenberg, which is not as overcrowded by tourists as most areas of the Lüneburg Heath.
