The college, founded in 1856 in today's Liesingen district of Kalksburg, was run by the Jesuits until 1988. It includes a grammar school, a secondary school and, since 1993, an elementary school. A boarding school was also part of the college until 1990. In addition to the modern language branch, the grammar school also offers a classical humanistic education with Latin from the 7th grade and ancient Greek from the 9th grade.
