In 1905, the community erected a memorial to King Frederick II of Prussia in gratitude for the drainage of the Oderbruch, which he had ordered, based on a design by Hans Weddo von Glümer. After the Second World War, the statue of Resident Letschins was rescued from the meltdown and stored. In 1990 it was put up again.
