Klein Eden is the name of the tropical house, under whose glass roof exotic fruits are being researched and produced on around 3,500 m². The tropical house was created in 2011 as a reference project for the energy-efficient use of waste heat in the low-temperature range. The process heat generated in the Rennsteig region could be used to cultivate up to 100,000 sqm of greenhouse space.
