The monster woodpecker is back, since the end of April 2018. 300 kilos heavy, two meters high is the woodpecker, created like his predecessor in the storm destroyed by the sculptor Andreas Rohrbach. Now he can be admired again, and photographed. The monster woodpecker was dead - long live monster woodpecker, the second! Long live the comic art in the greenbelt with its 14 geniuses.

The Jacobiweiher is named after Dr. med. Hans Bernhard Jacobi, who led the municipal forestry office from 1927-1940.
Shepherds used to graze cattle at the Oberschweinstiege. This so-called "forest pasture" was a traditional forest use for many centuries, which also led to corresponding damage. Each year, the number of pigs and cattle grazing in the forest was determined by the amount of acorn and beechnuts.
1592 the Oberschweinstiege is first mentioned. In 1779 a forestry building was established, and in 1889 the forester received a gift certificate. Since 1895 there is only one catering business.
Furthermore, there are some exhibits of the deceased artist F.K. Guardians, like the monster woodpecker, the Pinkel tree, the owl in the Norwegian sweater. Further works can be found in the Schwanheimer Wald, like the Monster Kinder and on the Schwanheimer Wiese the Struwwelpeter.
