The mural is titled "Solidarity" or "Memory for Blessing". It was completed in March 2022 by the Greek artist Kleomenis Kostopoulos (known as KLE).
The work commemorates a heroic event during the German occupation in World War II on the island of Zakynthos:
In December 1943, the German occupation authorities demanded a list of all Jews living on the island.
The mayor of Zakynthos, Loukas Karrer, and the Metropolitan Chrysostomos Demetriou refused to reveal the names.
When the deadline expired, the Metropolitan handed over a list containing only two names: his own and that of the mayor.
