I'm taking this hike as an opportunity to reflect on how we live together. Together in communities of all sizes, governed by social and political contracts. About the ethical foundations of our ways of living together. Our coexistence with non-human communities. And also our non-living together. Our lives that are opposed to those of others. Even though, in reality, we still live together with all living things.

This highlight is part of the hiking route “Grenzweg Stadtgebiet Arnsberg,” a municipal meditation on the Arnsberg urban area on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the municipal reorganization of 1975. The hike in ten stages was developed at the invitation of the Arnsberg Cultural Office in the funding program #ARTinprogress of the Kultursekretariat NRW in Gütersloh, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
