The small kiosk is the work of the eminent architect and director of the Dessau Bauhaus Mies van der Rohe. In 1932, with the help of Eduard Ludwig as construction manager, the so-called "Wailing Wall", which was a thorn in the eye of the Dessau, as it stood out so unadorned the environment, finally broke through and animated the place.
Demolished in 1962 but reconstructed after a long planning2013 and reopened in 2016.
