A beautiful vantage point above the Rappbode Reservoir. Easily accessible from the nearby parking lot (approx. 800 m). The access to the parking lot from the road is easy to miss, as it's located around a curve.

The view from the Rotestein viewpoint is always breathtaking for me. I highly recommend watching the sunrise or sunset from this beautiful spot... from the morning until late afternoon you have to expect tourists.
