Holy Spirit Church (Berne)Church building in BernThe Evangelical Reformed Church of the Holy Spirit is one of the landmarks of the city of Bern. It has its name from the Order of the Holy Spirit. In addition to services, today it is also used as a space for the Baroque Center Heiliggeistkirche Bern, exhibitions, concerts, talks and other events. Opposite the Loegegge on Spitalgasse 44, it forms one of the architectural focal points of Bahnhofplatz. Until 1865, to the west of the church was the Christoffel Tower. In 1860, the first real railway station of the city of Bern was built behind this church.
