The ascent by bike was worth it. There was wonderfully refreshing wheat beer. For those who are also hungry, the monastery kitchen also has several hearty meals to choose from.

From Wildflecken at the Märzenquelle under the main road through the direction of Kreuzberg, after about 1.5 kilometers the path leads over the road to the trail to the Guckapass, it's better to get off your bike here! Then over the main street to the parking lot and up to the Kreuzberg.

Beautiful monastery abbey that invites you to linger and consume food and homemade strong beer, from the monastery you can explore life in the whole area

Large beer garden that is very touristy. The corona management was good and quick for admission and table allocation. The drinks and especially the food served were almost unreasonable. Long queues and therefore long waiting times. Fatally reminiscent of the GDR, had nothing to do with service. You can also save too much staff. The beer served from coherent steins was excellent.

Once you've got the 12% ramp on the north side as an organic biker, you've really earned the totally tasty monastery beer.
