Hiking
Remains of an early wooden chapel from the 13th century were found at this site.
In 1963, the church was classified as historical heritage but was removed from it again in 1973.
Through detours, the building became private property and in 2015 a clothing store unfortunately moved in here.

The church combines various architectural styles, with Gothic elements and later modifications that reflect the building's long history. Today, St. James' Church remains a peaceful and spiritual anchor point in the city, where religious heritage, pilgrimage tradition, and urban history converge. A worthwhile stop on an exploratory walk through Namur.
