When you enter the café, you go back a century in time. Café Het Oude Huis, better known as the oldest café in Apeldoorn. The café is 149 years old, and has had many feet on the old, wooden floors over the years. The café was known as the café of Prince Hendrik. Queen Wilhelmina's husband always came through the adjacent Prinsengang to turn the café upside down, and he could easily slip away again that way.
