Mountain Biking Highlight
The Druid Stone is an impressive natural monument. The basalt cone was probably already used as a religious site by the Celts.
Every year on Ascension Day there is a procession to the Druid Stone.
Originally the druid stone had an even higher point, which was probably broken off for tactical reasons in the 30 Years War.
In 1979 the Druid Stone was struck by lightning. Since then it has had to be supported by reinforced concrete beams.
