As an entrance element and landmark in five selected parks in the Ruhr area, DUKTUS has created over 3 meter high "R"s in five different colors. The requirements when commissioned were extraordinary stability and a long service life. A special stabilization was applied to the front and back of a 50 cm thick core made of EPS (Styropor®) and the letters were then given a 4 mm extra-strong PU spray coating all around.
