On the homepage of Jungfrau Railways, the opening of the path is visible. However, there are more spectacular trails in the area.

That's right. The tour is not very varied. Nevertheless, a sublime feeling to walk so close to the Eiger and the north wall over. Anyone in the area should take it with them.

A narrow and not easy path leads between the abyss and the steep north wall - an experience!

Uphill it is a bit stricter. but easier and safer. And you always have this imposing wall in front of you. As a starsk visually impaired hiker, I have managed this climb easily.
Council: Do not commit before mid / end of June. It can still have snow and icy places.
A nice tour wsünscht you Mario

Sensational Impressive hike! Small footpaths take us into the alpine world.

Right animated. In my eyes a bit overrated.

Take care if there is snow & ice, parts of the path can be slippery & thus dangerous - plus there are lots of tourists on it...

You can't "walk" closer to the Eiger north face.
The panorama on the Kleine Scheidegg is simply fantastic

currently The route has been changed a little: the large construction site for the Eiger Express and at the Eigergletscher station requires that you follow the diversion below the station. But it is well signposted.

Overall, not a really demanding tour (from Kleine Scheidegg to Alpiglen). But it can get interesting when you try to understand the different climbing routes. Or look for the spot where the military jet crashed into the north face of the Eiger (jungfrauzeitung.ch/artikel/74930).

Walk the additional distance around the back of the EIger Glacier Station for a full front view of the glacier

Very nice to run. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the helicopters are a massive bother! They thunder upwards every 10 minutes. Pure nature is different!
