This chapel, dedicated to the Virgin of the Poor, was built entirely with donations in 1968 and is only one stop on the pilgrimage to Banneux. Banneux is a small town in the municipality of Sprimont on the Ardennes plateau.
A Beco family lived in poor conditions in Banneux. From January 15 to March 2, 1933, the mother of God Mary is said to have appeared eight times to the twelve-year-old daughter, calling herself the “Virgin of the Poor”.November 13, 2021
