You have to smile a bit: a "mountain" with 169 m height. But the one-eyed man is king among the blind. If the next low mountain range, the Harz with its 1,141 m high chunk, is sufficiently far away, then with 169 m you are just a mountain. :-)

The MusMuseum with the village in Wilsede Sol should not be missed. The life of the Middle Ages is depicted here very authentically. Here is the time still.

Wilseder Berg - the heart of the Lüneburg HeathThe center of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park is the 169 m high Wilseder mountain. He is thus the highest elevation of the northwest German lowlands. From the summit with its landmark you can see a wide forest and heathland. On a clear day you can see the tips of the Hamburg and Lüneburg church towers. The Wilseder Berg is the center of the largest heathland in Europe, from here you have a fantastic view of the wide, blooming landscape. The heathland covers a total of 230 square kilometers. They have been under protection since 1921 because they have become a hunting ground for rare animals and plants.(Source: lueneburger-heide.de)
