The Bad Oldesloe-Trittau-Schwarzenbek railway line was opened on August 1st, 1887. Only the former station building with the attached goods shed and the station forecourt are still reminiscent of the former Trittau railway connection.
In 1976 the passenger traffic on the railway line was stopped, in 1981 the freight traffic. Today the bike path to Bad Oldesloe or Glinde is located on the former railway line, which is excellent for cycling or hiking.

The Trittauer Bahnhof was opened on August 1, 1887 as part of the Bad-Oldesloe - Schwarzenbek state railway line. The brick building still looks beautiful and is now used as a restaurant since there have been no trains since the 1980s.
