Bike Touring Highlight (Segment)
Wonderful train path on the ex- "Dolomitenbahn" (IT 5.01). It was created by Austria for military reasons and expanded after the Second World War by Italy and connected the Piave with the Pustertal as a 960-mm narrow gauge railway, partly with elaborately connected engineering structures such as short tunnels, viaducts, retaining walls. The slope distances are at least max. 4% steep. The small station building wonderfully cheesy. The further you go, the more beautiful the views of the Dolomite rocks of Tofana, Fanes, Pelmo and Co.

Great railway line, very scenic location, but sometimes very rough loose ground.
