Above the cave is a "platform" that leads vertically downwards. Among them is the so-called "Gertrudskammer", or "Drudenhöhle"A few meters from the Lazy Hunter, a steep descent leads below the rock
The cave or excavation below a cliff slope below a horizontally notched rock outcrop was caused by weathering and leaching of the Osning sandstone. Legend has it that the cave was the hermitage of Gertrud's hermitage; but perhaps also a Saxon nature sanctuary, which was inhabited by the "wise Wala", a Druid.
A few meters away from the Rotten Jäger, a steep descent leads below the rock to the "Gertrudskammer", also called "Drudenhöhle".

From the rock over the cave you have a fantastic view. And here too one can immediately invent and pass on exciting stories and legends. Beautiful.
