In the first competition at district level, the horticultural and local beautification association in Himmelkron took third place. In the meantime, ten awards have been achieved for Himmelkron and three awards for Gössenreuth. Every year, the association drew up work programs, such as creating a children's playground below the elementary school, greening the through road or installing benches. The boulder on Markgrafenstraße in Himmekron points to the success of the town's beautification.
