The Eifgenbach rises on Rattenberg in Wermelskirchen on the city boundary to Remscheid, south includes the Wermelskirchener main town and flows through a natural valley in a southwestern direction. In the lower reaches, it forms the border with Burscheid. Within sight of the Altenberg Cathedral in Odenthal the Eifgenbach flows into the Dhünn.

Spiritual and spiritual paths lead through this valley. That's good for the soul. Also the brain. Especially the lungs and the circulation. The whole person.

Beautiful circular hiking trail, wildly romantic, relatively demanding, very idyllic and original.

The Way of St. James along the Eifgenbach is one of the most beautiful sections between Beyenburg and Aachen.
