Previously, the inhabitants of the village attended the parish of Sending the Apostles in Mrzygłód. Since February 27, 1985, the church has been a branch of the parish of the Ascension of the Lord in Sanok. It is located at Liszna 34 and the road leading to it is as picturesque as its surroundings.
The church was consecrated in 1939 by Fr. Antoni Porębski from the parish of the Lord's Transfiguration in Sanok.

The temple was located among the forest on a hill in the southern part of the village, in the vicinity of a sanatorium funded during the Second Polish Republic by Michalina Mościcka, the first lady of Poland, wife of the President of the Republic of Poland, Ignacy Mościcki (water baths were possible, the microclimate of the mountains was used). The sanatorium was destroyed by the Germans in 1941.
