The triangle stonewas built around 1840 and the column pointed to the royal Bavarian forest districts - Buckenhof, Dormitz and Tennenlohe.
The sandstone column was destroyed by the US Army during tank exercises. At the same location a replica was built in 2013.September 2, 2018
