A stunning pair of bronze age stone circles sit here at the base of Sittaford Tor. The stones in each circle are very consistent in size and an excavation revealed a thick layer of charcoal in the centre of the circles. Unfortunately following the excavation, some stones were put back in the wrong place. You can spot these stones as they are surrounded by small stones to keep them upright.
