Ainielle

This town, abandoned since the middle of the 20th century, was the protagonist of the novel "The Yellow Rain" by the writer Julio Llamazares. It narrates the monologue of the last inhabitant of the town and was very well received by readers in urban settings, making Ainielle a symbol of the forgotten towns of the Pyrenees.
