The Christ the King Statue (Polish: Pomnik Chrystusa Króla) is a monumental figure of Christ in Świebodzin (German: Schwiebus) in Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland. It was built in 2010 on a 16 meter high mound and measures 36 meters including the three meter high crown. This made it the tallest Christ figure in the world by 2022 and six meters higher than the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. The Cristo Protetor (“Christ the Protector”) statue surpasses the Christ the King statue by a meter and a half.[1
