I must contradict Norbert, the Auerhahnhütte is still very well.
In a northwesterly direction about 150 m, there is the hut in a fenced area of the Revierförsterei.October 21, 2018

Today there is only a sign and a table with 2 benches to rest. There used to be a hunting lodge belonging to the Count of Dillenburg there.@ Horst I didn't see anything there ... Next time I'll look closely.

From here you can start wonderful tours. Direction Sinn, Dreißbach, Bellersdorf or via the Sinnerstraße towards Reuterberg (Herborn)
