The New Town Hall in Hanover is the city hall of the Lower Saxony state capital and the headquarters of the Hanoverian city administration under its mayor. The Wilhelminian, castle-like magnificent building in eclectic style was built from 1901 to 1913 (Wikipedia).
The town hall with a height of 97.73 meters, a length of about 129 meters and a width of about 67 meters was built according to the plans of the architect Hermann Eggert on 6026 beech piles. The main hall of the Town Hall had a length of 30 meters, a width of 21 meters and a height of over 30 meters. The building material, hard sandstone, came from Mehler quarries (Wikipedia).
