The inconspicuous Romanesque exterior hides a fabulous interior. Unfortunately rarely open, if so necessarily throw a look inside.

A worth seeing church that is currently fighting for the preservation.
Agnes von Hohenstaufen, the daughter of Emperor Henry IV and the wife of Duke Friedrich von Staufen, lost their wedding ring while hunting in Remstal. In desperation, she vowed to have a church built at the site of the wedding ring. The ring was found in the place of the later Johanniskirche in the antlers of a hunted deer and Agnes von Hohenstaufen had a church built on this site.
