The quarry is called Diabas. Beautiful hiking trail around the Heimberg. HWN 109

The path of the stones can be integrated very well into a round trip around Wolfshagen. You can walk on the Steinway Trail, visit the Schäderbaude, the Schlederpavillon (great view of Wolfshagen), the Schäderquelle and as a conclusion the way or use the track of the stones to visit the station 109 of the Harzer hiking nobility.

On the 4km long trail "Spur der Steine" you can circle the quarry.

One of my personal favorite places. Great view of the "stone" in the quarry 🤗

Easily accessible from Wolfshagen. The rock overgrown with trees in the middle of the quarry is just as worth seeing as the "path of stones" around the quarry

Followed the trail of stones with my dog Einstein 😅 at least a nice little part of it. Einstein was also fascinated by the wonderful view at the stamp location!

If you follow the path "Trail of stones" there is a rest area on the opposite side with a totally different perspective of the quarry.

Well, in spite of natural habitat: dinosaurs have not yet settled again .. So: Actually, "normal".
On the other hand, people of very special character can already find their way.
    Right, Michael?

Without the extreme middle part of the quarry would be more normal and not so special 😬
