Stand-up paddlers help themselves on Lake Millstatt

Two self-service stations for water sports equipment rental have opened in Döbriach and Seeboden. With the SUP boards or kayaks you can start paddling at sunrise.
The Heiuki machine for stand-up paddling rental is right next to the beach volleyball court in Klauberpark in Seeboden. Stand-up paddlers can also do their own thing in Döbriach. The municipalities of Radenthein and Seeboden were at odds: who had the first fully automatic stand-up paddling (SUP) rental service in Carinthia? In reality, the self-service machines were set up at the same time. Whether in Döbriach or Seeboden, from now on you can meet at Lake Millstatt. "We have a total of eight stations in Austria," says Felix Hiebeler, inventor and project manager of the "Heiuki" rental company, which was only founded in March.
