Löwenbräu

The Löwenbräukeller with its unmistakable lion above the main entrance and the bay window with the green copper pointed cone is just a few minutes' walk from Munich Central Station.The traditional tavern includes a rustic restaurant, a historic tavern and a real beer garden, where, as is customary in Munich, you can bring your own snack. We owe this regulation to the first Bavarian king Max I Joseph, whose "beer garden decree" from 1812 is still valid today. However, drinks must be purchased in the beer garden.

The Löwenbräu Aktiengesellschaft is a brewery in Munich. Since 1997 it has belonged together with Spatenbräu to the Spaten-Löwenbräu Group, which in turn belongs to the Anheuser-Busch-InBev Group.

Traditional brewery - the ballroom is impressive and spreads a folk festival atmosphere when it's full enough.
