The Ödenturm is a striking watchtower that towers on a rocky spur high above Geislingen and with its appearance of the neighboring castle Helfenstein represents a competition in the view. It is single and not part of a larger weir system. In the course of time, numerous lightning strikes struck the building and burned it down. The current shape was created by numerous reconstructions, so that today it is square in the lower area and round at the top. From the foot of the tower there is an excellent view of the surroundings. A visit is particularly worthwhile in connection with Helfenstein Castle.
