The Bregenz Oh is an influx of Lake Constance from the Austrian Vorarlberg. Several hydroelectric power plants are used to generate electricity. The river was a traffic engineering challenge, especially for the farmers of the region, as the unpredictable river was safely passable only in a few places, which led to the construction of bridge structures.
