April 20, 2022: We had planned a larger tour - over the Metzlersreuther Bach and then further along the Ölschnitz. Unfortunately there is no longer a bridge there. We had met a local - apparently the bridge hasn't existed for more than 1 year.
The stream is definitely too wide to jump over. And climbing over the slippery stones was too risky for us - especially since the stream had carried a lot of water in our time. Pity! We had to turn back. So please take this into account when planning!April 22, 2022
Shoes off and through is the only solution so far (February 5th, 2023).
