Blautopf

An absolutely gorgeous place. The circular route around the Blautopf is highly recommended. The Blautopf (21 meters deep) is fed by the Blau, which penetrates upwards through an underground cave system. You should plan a visit during the week, as it is almost overcrowded on weekends and public holidays.

Currently don't visit on the WE when the weather is nice, it could get a bit crowded.

For me a really worth seeing place. Great turquoise blue color of the water, you can look far into the depths. Despite the apparently completely calm surface, 2000 liters of water / second still stream upwards. The adjoining smithy (museum) is also worth seeing.

An absolute must but very busy on the weekend and in great weather 🤩

Nice destination. Some expect something bigger. I still think it's worth going there. There is a souvenir shop right on the Blautopf that also sells drinks - worth its weight in gold if you're out and about in summer.

Mystical place where a huge underwater system comes to the surface.

You've often seen the blue in photos, but experiencing it in person is doubly impressive. Unfortunately, this is the case for many people ;-)

A beautiful piece of earth

A small blue lake, beautifully situated, fed by a cave spring, and a place of sagas and legends, or simply worth seeing.
