    In the years 2012 - 2016, a bible garden with 24 flower beds was laid out on an area of ​​approx. 1,700 m² in the Diakoniewerk Pilgerheim Weltersbach in Leichlingen. There are about 80 of the mentioned in the Bible about 120 plants mentioned. For each plant you will find a sign with the botanical and biblical reference. Shown are u.a. Anemones, chamomile, hyssop, lavender, wheat, barley, mustard, oregano, coriander and garlic, or even a mulberry, a cedar, a laurel tree, olive trees, a vine.Likewise one sees 23 artistic representations of different occurrences from the Old and New Testament, such as. the creation, the 10 commandments, the wedding at Cana, the Emmaus disciples u.v.a.m.The Bible Garden is open daily during the daytime hours.
