The Nette is a creek in the Lower Rhine region. It is about 28 kilometers long and has a catchment area of about 180 square kilometers. The Nette begins in Dülken and flows first past Boisheim, then through some Nette-Seen at Lobberich and Breyell, then through the Krickenbecker lakes and then direction Wachtendonk. North of Wachtendonk it flows into the Niers. The Nette is named after the nature park Maas-Schwalm-Nette, which it flows through, and for the 1970 in a territorial reform resulting city Nettetal (formed from Lobberich, Breyell, Hinsbeck, Leuth, Kaldenkirchen and Schaag).de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nette_(Niers)
