The Elkenrother pond is an 8-hectare pond in the course of Elbbach Elkenroth in Rhineland-Palatinate. In the west of the pond borders the nature reserve Weidenbruch.The origins of the pond go back to several consecutively created fish ponds on the upper reaches of the Elbe stream from the Middle Ages.
