Should be on everyone's to-do list. Worth a visit even without a tour of the castle and once you are there, you should also make a detour to Hohenschwangau Castle.

At the moment (June/July 2022) the Marienbrücke is closed due to renovation work. Unfortunately, the exit to the Pöllat Gorge is also closed.
