The Roman Fountain, created in 1915 by Franz Brantzky, was destroyed in World War II. The modified reconstruction according to a design by Karl Band, took place in 1955 and represents its present appearance. It is a large basin, surrounded by a shallow basin, which drains overflowing water. On the sides of the basin are Romanesque reliefs embedded.
Fountains from Roman times were often dug up, which proved to be different. The presented form can therefore be regarded as a plausible replica. Although it is not an antique original except for the reliefs, it is still a vivid object.
